Rain Rain Go Away

My first and possibly last attempt to get the words to rhyme.
Now that you have come all this way long....suffer.

Rain Rain go away,
All the bangaloreans pray,
Roads are small, none to spare,
Traffic Snarls all along the way.

Thats it for today.

Brainy or Just Focussed?

And he is even the lead singer in quite modest rock band in bangalore.

This is about a person I saw in Vibrations 2005, the cultural fest of IISc, Bangalore. An software engineer by profession,
a mechanical engineer who won top prize in robotics during his graduation and also a good singer who can go on the stage and manage quite well. Quite smart and handsome, and obviously must be an extrovert. (Though this is my extrapolation, seems to be a decent guessestimate.)

Another person, same venue. He was the quiz master for corporate quiz copetetion. Software Engineer again and working for HP (heard he is quite good at that too), and aluminus of our department in IISc. Good in technology and Industry and also in quiz.

How can this be that a person is good (or in the above two cases good is only a modest word..we can call them excellent) in more than one field? Is it that somebody sitting above has been overgenrous with few people? Or is it that the dedication which they are able to provide to one thing at a time (and multiple things over few days) makes them what they are?

Why is it that most people simply struggle to master only one subject and many times fail at even that? Is it that they spread themselves very thin over many subjects? Is it that they are not able to recognize what talents they really possess.

I am lost in thoughts since saturday. Any comments? Anything more to share?

The Cosmic Blessing

The Power of Cosmic Blessing
It was the moment when the whole world stopped for a second. Every body had a feeling that something was happening, something which has never happened before, something which will never happen again. That was the moment when the perfect shishya was blessed by a godly guru.

This rarest of the reare event was captured by a student of IISc and will be stored for ever. This photograph has so much power in it that it will change the life for ever for better. Pass it on to 5 friends and u will be blessed with whatever you wish...Just say "Swami Rahulanand ki Jai" 100 times in your mind and the whole world will bend in front of you.

Pass it on to 5 friends for thsi blessing being effective.
